Yet again in the news is a report of another tragic death of a teenager who has recently suffered from a very strange and sick element of the human race.
I set up this blog to provide business with hints and tips on a variety of business related topics and this tragic incident does have an impact on any business. This young man has parents who I am sure both work, and if you were their employer would you expect them to come to work.? I really hope your answer to that question is no. We cant possibly image how they feel, but we can do something to prevent it happening.
I-PAT is a company who are experts in the field of cyber bullying, and internet grooming, not a pleasant subject but it is happening every second of every day. The team at I-Pat deliver sessions to parents and teachers so they can recognise the signs and then support the person who is the victim of these harrendous actions.
As an employer you can be proactive to support your staff and bring I-Pat in to your business to run these sessions. Also you will understand how an employee could effect your business by placing an inappropriate comment on a social networking site from their home computer. ( I would hope that all your employees do not have access via their work computers to social network sites)
I am really struggling to understand why businesses are not jumping on the phone and booking these sessions. If I had employees I certainly would.
